Three Detained In Dissident Probe

Three men have been arrested by the PSNI in connection with dissident republican activity.

The men, aged 24, 25 and 43, were arrested in the cityside and waterside areas of L'Derry on Thursday.

They have been taken to Antrim Police Station for questioning.

Police Probe Spate Of Co Down Burglaries
Police have launched an investigation following three burglaries in County Down over the weekend. Properties in the Newtownards and Bangor areas were targeted within a two hour period on Saturday evening, 05 October. A possible link has been identified, however it's not believed anything was stolen during any of the incidents.

Man Shot In Both Legs In L'Derry
A man has been shot in both legs in L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 30s, was targeted at a house in Margaret Street in the Waterside area. Two masked men entered the property at around 8.45pm and carried out the attack. The victim was taken to hospital for his injuries.

Arrest As L'Derry Security Alert Ends
A man has been arrested following a security operation and evacuation of homes in L'Derry. A suspicious object located in the Beechwood Avenue area of the city was declared an elaborate hoax and a 41-year-old man remains in custody this morning, Tuesday 15 October.

Man Charged Over Coleraine Stabbing
A man is facing a number of charges, including attempted murder, following a stabbing in Co L'Derry over the weekend. A 28-year-old woman sustained a number of stab wounds during the incident on Saturday morning, 05 October. She was targeted at a house in the Hawthorn Terrace area of Coleraine and later taken to hospital for treatment.

Two Men Arrested Over Peggy O'Hara Funeral Released
Two men arrested in connection with dissident republican activity in relation to a number of offences at the wake and funeral of Peggy O'Hara in July have been released. The men, aged 53 and 34, were detained in Strabane on Tuesday by detectives from the Serious Crime Branch.
