Man Dies In Workplace Accident
A man has died in an industrial accident in Clady, Co Tyrone.
It is understood the man, aged in his 20s, died following an accident on a construction site.
The incident happened at Lisdoo Road at around 11am on Tuesday.
No further details are available.
The PSNI has said it is investigating the accident on behalf of the coroner.
The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) has confirmed it is also carrying out an investigation.
Coastal Communities Fund To Benefit NI
Coastal communities throughout Northern Ireland are set to benefit from almost £1.5m in grants.
The money has been made available through the UK-wide Coastal Communities Fund.
The Fund is allocated by the UK Treasury to the DoE, and is in addition to the Department's budget. It aims to support the regeneration and economic development of coastal communities by funding projects that create new jobs and safeguard existing jobs.
Environment Minister Mark H Durkan commented: "This year three rounds of funding have been brought together into one to enable larger projects to be funded.
"Seven projects based around our coast at Coleraine, Bushmills, Ballycastle, Rathlin Island, Carrickfergus and Newcastle have received grants ranging from £71,000 to £734,000.
"These projects are excellent examples of how people can work together to regenerate and support the economic development of their communities."
Three Injured In Car Crash
Three men have been left injured following a one-vehicle accident in north Belfast.
The crash, which involved a blue coloured Renault Megane, happened on the Antrim Road, between Northview and Kincraig Park, at around 2.45am on Tuesday (6 January).
Police have said the men, two aged in their 20s and one in his 30s, were taken to hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or who has information, is asked to contact police.

Belfast City Council has announced a new £100,000 Challenge Fund competition for the city's digital and creative companies, aimed at animating the Maritime Mile. Developed by the Council's City Innovation Office, in partnership with the Maritime Belfast Trust, the fund is part of the Belfast HUB-IN (Hub of Innovation) project.
