First Trust launch networking initiative

A new business networking initiative is to be launched at First Trust Bank's Head Office in Belfast on Tuesday, September 2.

The B4B (Business for Business) initiative aims to give new businesses in Northern Ireland the chance to network and share ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.

Members will have the opportunity to meet potential suppliers, partners and customers as well as gain valuable information on issues and topics of relevance to SMEs in NI.

Commenting on the initiative, Jack McComiskey, Chairman of the B4B Committee said: "B4B provides a structured and supportive system of giving and receiving business. It does so by providing an environment in which business people can develop personal relationships with dozens of other qualified business professionals.

"By establishing this 'formal' relationship with other people, they will have the opportunity to substantially increase their own business."

Members can also use the meetings to distribute marketing material to fellow members.

The keynote speaker at the launch will be business coach Richard Marsh, who will deliver a seminar entitled 'Business Networking for Profit'. The seminar will explore how best to maximise the opportunities for doing business during formal and informal events.

Businesses seeking further information can visit the B4B website www.b4b-ni.org.
