Job Awareness And Advice Event To Be Held In Omagh
A job awareness and advice event is to take place in Omagh on Wednesday 22nd April.
The event, which is free and open to all, will take place in the Strule Arts Centre, High Street, and has been organised by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL).
Employment and Learning Minister Stephen Farry said: "With over 100 upcoming jobs available in the coming months, this event provides an excellent opportunity for local jobseekers to come along and hear about what will be on offer. It has something for everyone and I would encourage anyone, whether in work, unemployed or simply considering their education and training options, to explore and avail of the services that will be available on the day."
The primary focus of the event is to advise jobseekers about opportunities in a new Primark store to be opened at the end of the summer.
Primark anticipates that its new store to be opened in late August or early September will require up to 120 employees and will be holding a series of presentations on these opportunities throughout the day.
Visitors to the event will also have the opportunity to participate in a series of job club workshops, receive assistance with online jobsearch and avail of careers advice from DEL's professionally qualified careers advisers.
