Dogs Killed In Fermanagh Fire
Seven dogs and six pups have died following a fire at a shed in Clabby, Co Fermanagh, on Saturday evening.
Police have launched an investigation to establish if the fire in the Drumcor Road area was started deliberately.
Chief Inspector Graham Dodds said: "This incident is currently being linked to a suspicious object being found in the Clabby Road area on Friday 17 April which turned out to be nothing untoward.
"To ensure the protection of the public, there will be increased police patrols in the area. I would ask anyone with any information on this to contact Enniskillen Police Staton on the non-emergency number 101."

ASSEMBLY CREATE AWARD TO HONOUR FIRE SERVICE

An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

NI's Chief Fire Officer Announces His Retirement
The Chief Fire Officer for Northern Ireland, Peter Craig, has announced that he is to retire after over 35 years of distinguished Service. Peter Craig is one of the longest serving officers in Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service and was appointed as Chief Fire Officer in February 2011, having been the acting Chief from July 2010.
