Three Arrested Over Suspected Cannabis Find

Three men have been arrested following a suspected cannabis find in south Armagh.

Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, working in partnership with officers from the National Crime Agency, discovered the cannabis worth an estimated value of around £400k, at premises on Newtown Road in Carnlough on Friday.

The men, aged 36, 51 and 62 have been arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs related offences and are currently being detained in custody.

A man has also been arrested in Birmingham as part of the investigation.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Arrests Made At Traffic Collision Following L'Derry Burglary
Police responding to a road traffic collision in L'Derry last night, Wednesday 20 March, arrested two men in connection with an earlier burglary in the area. At 23:55 last night, police received a report of a collision on Gortinure Road involving a black Audi TT. The vehicle was found abandoned in a ditch.

Two Men Arrested Following Cannabis Find In Cookstown
Two men have been arrested following a suspected cannabis find, worth an estimated street value of £200,000, in Cookstown. Police discovered the cannabis factory at a house in the Keenaghan Road area on Tuesday. A quantity of herbal cannabis and a number of suspected cannabis plants in various stages of growth were seized.

Underground Cannabis Factory Discovered In L'Derry
Police have discovered an underground cannabis factory with a total of 120 plants near Maghera, L'Derry. The discovery was made after police searched premises at Moneysharvin Road on Tuesday. The plants have an estimated street value of £60,000.
