Lidl Expansion Plans Welcomed

Retailer Lidl has announced expansion plans at its store in Connswater Shopping Complex, east Belfast.

DUP candidate Gavin Robinson welcomed the announcement and said the level of investment being put into the development by Lidl is a real vote of confidence in the centre.

Mr Robinson said: "I have been in regular contact with the management of Connswater in recent months and the addition of this significant new store provides a very solid base for future growth.

"The additional jobs that will be created provide a further boost to the local economy also."
