NI Polling Stations Open

Polling stations for the Westminster election have opened across Northern Ireland.

NI voters will be able to select from a total of 18 MPs until 10pm tonight, Thursday.

The overnight count will take place in eight different locations and the first results are expected at around 2am on Friday.

The DUP is standing in 16 constituencies and the UUP is standing in 15.

The Alliance Party, the SDLP and Sinn Féin are standing in all 18 constituencies.

Man Extradited From Poland To Stand Trial In NI
A 41-year-old man has been extradited from Poland to Northern Ireland to stand trial for a number of offences, including the cultivation of cannabis. According to the PSNI, the man is accused of committing a number of offences in the Maghera, Coleraine and Kilrea areas in October 2019.

Belfast City Airport Names Air Ambulance NI As Official Charity Partner
Belfast City Airport has named Air Ambulance NI as its Charity Partner of the Year for 2024 and 2025. Working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to provide Helicopter based Emergency Medical Services for the region, Air Ambulance NI operates 12 hours per day, 365 days a year.
