Man Convicted Of Benefit Fraud
A man has been convicted for claiming benefits he was not entitled to at Belfast Magistrates' Court.
36-year-old Thomas Copeland of Ligoniel Road, claimed Employment and Support Allowance, Jobseekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £23,183 while failing to declare employment.
He was given an eight month prison sentence suspended for two years.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Road Improvement Project To Start In Saintfield
Over £100,000 has been secured for resurfacing works on roads near Saintfield, Co Down.
The £110,000 scheme on Oughley Road and part of Drumalig Road is to start on Monday 27 July.
The works will take place between 8am and 6pm daily including some weekend working.
It is expected to be complete by Friday 14 August.
Call For Investigation Into Allegations Of State Collusion In Parliamentary Murders
The Alliance Party is calling for a thorough investigation into allegations of state collusion in paramilitary murders that were carried out during the Troubles.
Mr Dickson said: ""I am fully supportive of our Police and security services, and hold them in high regard; however if there are allegations of possible state involvement in paramilitary murders then there must be a thorough investigation.
"Nobody can be above the law. We must hold people to account for their actions and uphold the rule of law."

Security Alert In L'Derry
A suspicious object has been discovered on the outskirts of L'Derry. The object was found in a laneway off the Drunahoe Road. Police and army bomb experts are at the scene. The Drumahoe Road has been closed at its junctions with the Fincairn Road and Church Road.
