Cannabis Factory Discovered In Dungiven

A cannabis factory has been discovered at a house in Dungiven on Saturday.

Detectives from the Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, Crime Operations Department found the large factory at Larch Road shortly after midday.

Detective Chief Inspector, Colin Gillis, from Crime Operations Dept said: "At this stage I would estimate the street value of the cannabis plants recovered at around £250,000. No arrests have been made at this stage, however, officers remain at the scene carrying out a detailed forensic analysis of the premises."

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Detectives Revisit The Scene Of Kevin Conway Murder
One week on from the murder of Kevin Conway, detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team have revisited the scene in the Greenan area of west Belfast.
