SDLP website falls to international hackers

The SDLP were left red-faced today after its website, which has visitors from across the world, was taken over by international hackers.

Normally the Northern Ireland political party's site gives information about its leadership, policies news and views, however on Thursday morning the site had been replaced by a black background with the writing "Shadow Boys.Owns.You."

By Thursday afternoon, the content had changed containing information pertaining to be about Turkish terrorist organisation called KADEK "which started terrorist acts under the name of PKK that has caused more damages and injuries in our society than all the active terrorist organizations in Turkey".

A spokesperson for the party confirmed its web team was working on the problem and that they hoped that the party's website should be back online as soon as possible.
