Donaghcloney Man Fined For Benefit Fraud
A 35-year-old man has been convicted of benefit fraud at Craigavon Magistrates' Court.
Gavin Treanor, of Main Street, Donaghcloney, was fined £200 and ordered to pay court costs of £38 for wrongful encashment of Jobseeker’s Allowance totalling £260.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
Jennifer Dornan Funeral To Be Held
The funeral of Jennifer Dornan, the murdered mother-of-three, is to be held today in Dunmurray.
A service is to be held at Christ the Redeemer Church in Lagmore for the 30-year-old who was stabbed to death before her home was set alight last weekend.
Preacher Denies Charges Over Views On Islam
Evangelical preacher, James McConnell, has appeared in court over his views on Islam, expressed in a sermon broadcast online.
According to reports, Pastor McConnell is understood to be denying "moral or legal culpability" to the charges of improper use of a public electronic communications network and causing a grossly offensive message to be sent by means of a public electronic communications network.

Funding Secured For Voluntary Teacher Redundancies
Funding has been found for 30 voluntary redundancies, Education Minister John O'Dowd has announced. It follows protests held earlier this week over the low number of voluntary redundancies that the minister had approved. Previously 46 voluntary redundancies had been allowed but only in schools that where due to close or that were being amalgamated.

Couple Found Dead At House In County Down
A man and his wife have been found dead at a house in south Down in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The couple, which were in their late 30s, were found at the house at Edentrumly Road in Mayobridge, just outside Newry, shortly before 1.00am. A police spokeswoman has said that a legally held firearm was recovered from the house.
