Four Major Jobs Fairs And Advice Forums Announced
Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry has announced a series of four major Jobs Fairs and Advice Forums.
The fairs will take place in the Canal Court Hotel in Newry on Thursday 10 September; the Millennium Forum, Londonderry on Wednesday 23 September; Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre in Ballymoney on Thursday 1 October and the Europa Hotel in Belfast on Wednesday 21 October 2015. Each event will run from 10am to 4pm and has been organised by the Department for Employment and Learning.
Minister Farry said: "These events bring employers, support organisations and jobseekers together under one roof. The Job Fairs have something for everyone and I would encourage anyone, whether in work, unemployed or simply considering their education and training options, to explore the services which will be available on each day."
A wide range of vacancies will be available at each event, including opportunities in Information Technology, Hospitality and Media and Creative Industries. Advice and guidance will also be available on a range of training and re-skilling opportunities.

Consultation On New Employment Programme Launched
Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry today launched a public consultation on a proposed new employment programme for Northern Ireland. The new programme, which has been called provisionally Steps 2 Success (NI), will replace the Department’s main adult return to work provision, Steps to Work, which was introduced in September 2008.
