Road accident in Co Tyrone kills two men

Two men have been killed after their car collided with a lorry in Co Tyrone early this morning.

The accident happened on the Gillydooley Road to Drumquin at around 8.20am on Monday.

The road has been closed with motorists being advised to use an alternative route.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them. They are particularly keen to hear from the driver of a red Volvo lorry that was in the area at the time.

Police Appeal After Man Attacked In Co Antrim
Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The assault happened in the North Road area at around 3.30am on Sunday, 29 January. A gang of four or five men attacked the victim, aged 37. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been described as "serious".

Two Men Jailed For 'Horrific And Callous' Murder Of Roy Reynolds
Two men have been jailed at Belfast Crown Court in connection with the "horrific and callous" murder of Roy Reynolds in County Antrim in 2022. Michael Campbell, 34, was handed a life sentence last December after pleading guilty to Mr Reynold's murder.
