Man Dies In L'Derry Collision

A man has died following a car collision in Magherafelt, L'Derry.

The man, in his 20s, was driving on the Tobermore Road at around 6.45pm on Thursday.

No other vehicle was involved in the collision.

The Tobermore Road has since been reopened.

A man aged in 90s was left in need of treatment for smoke inhalation after two arson attacks in Downpatrick. Police are probing a link between two deliberate ignitions in the Killough Walk and Vianstown Heights area of the town, less than a mile from each other, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Man Arrested After Woman Dies In Co Armagh Collision
A man has been arrested after a woman was killed in a crash in Co Armagh. The collision happened on the Newry Road just before 3.30am on Sunday. The 25-year-old male is being detained by police on a number of motoring offences. The road has been reopened.
