Man Dies In L'Derry Collision

A man has died following a car collision in Magherafelt, L'Derry.

The man, in his 20s, was driving on the Tobermore Road at around 6.45pm on Thursday.

No other vehicle was involved in the collision.

The Tobermore Road has since been reopened.

A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.

Road Safety Warning Issued Ahead Of Easter Holidays
As the Easter holidays approach, police have issued a reminder to all road users and pedestrians to practice road safety measures while out and about. Sadly 18 people have already lost their lives on Northern Ireland's roads this year, double the number of people compared to the same period last year.
