NI Recruitment Firm Sold To The Staffline Group
A Northern Ireland recruitment agency has been sold to the Staffline Group.
Diamond Recruitment Group specialises in temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.
Diamond provides over 2,000 workers a day from a database of over 59,000 candidates.
Andy Hogarth, Chief Executive of Staffline, commented: "This acquisition fits our strategy of selective bolt-on acquisitions and will expand our Staffline Ireland division, enhancing our reach and customer base considerably. We are delighted to welcome the Diamond team to the Group and look forward to continuing to grow our business in Northern Ireland."

A new recruitment drive has been launched for Community (Part-Time) Firefighters in 16 Fire Stations across Northern Ireland. The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) wants to recruit people who can respond to the relevant Fire Station within five minutes of being alerted by pager.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has launched a new recruitment campaign. Initially, 100 new constables will be recruited, with hopes to employ a further 378 within 2014/15. It is the PSNI's first recruitment drive in more than three years.
