Man Arrested Over Suspected Firearm And Drugs Find
A man has been arrested after police seized a suspected firearm and drugs in south Belfast.
Police found Class A, B and C drugs and drugs paraphernalia during a planned search of a property in the Ormeau Road area on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old suspect is being detained at Musgrave police station.
Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said: "This is an example of how information from the community enables us to focus our resources where and when they are needed most. Lifting the phone and making the call works."

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt
The PSNI have arrested a 23-year-old man in Magherafelt wanted in Lithuania to face charges of human trafficking. The man was arrested by officers from the Police Service's local policing team in Magherafelt, with assistance from the International Policing Unit. He is expected appear before extradition court in Belfast later today.
