Man Charged Following Police Pursuit In North Belfast

A man has been charged following a police pursuit in north Belfast.

The incident happened on the Shore Road at around 1.50am on Saturday.

The male driver was arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary, aggravated taking and driving away, no insurance, no licence and failing to stop for police. The female passenger was arrested on suspicion of two counts of burglary, aggravated taking and driving away without insurance.

The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court today, 14 December.
