Man Killed In Ballynahinch Crash Named

The name of a 36-year-old man who died in a collision in Ballynahinch, Co Down, has been released by the police.

Paul Donnelly, from Colinview in Belfast, was killed in the two-vehicle crash.

The accident happened on the Magheraknock Road at around 7.30pm on Saturday.

A 32-year-old man and a five-year-old girl were also injured in the crash. The man is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. Police Appeal For Witnesses Following Fatal Crash In L'Derry
Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash in Aghadowey, L'Derry, on Saturday, 14 May. A 19-year-old man died in the crash on the Agivey Road which happened at approximately 5pm. The PSNI appealed to any motorcyclists who had a helmet camera or who may have captured the incident to contact them.

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.

Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash
The PSNI have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road crash involving a motorcycle and a car. The accident happened on the Monagh Road in Turf Lodge on Saturday. Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
