Six Police Officers Injured After Stolen Car Rams Three Vehicles

Six police officers have been injured following a creeper burglary in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

A stolen car rammed into three police vehicles during a pursuit.

Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary and two of them are also suspected of motoring offences.

Two PSNI vehicles were rammed by the stolen car after they had been investigating a burglary in the area.

Another police vehicle was hit by the same stolen car in Belfast.

Two arrests were made after police received a report of people acting suspiciously in the Lynne Meadows area at around 11.45pm on Tuesday.

The two other arrests were made in the Circular Road area a short time later. The suspects, aged 17 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

All four suspects remain in police custody.

Colin Horner Murder: Man Arrested
A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Colin Horner. Mr Horner, 35, was fatally shot in front of his young son in a supermarket car park on Sunday, 28 May. The man was arrested in the Newtownards area on Friday, 16 June. He has been taken to Musgrave Police station for questioning.

Armed Robber Dresses As Police Officer
Police are searching for two men in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a shop in Co Armagh. Police said that one of the men who attempted to rob the shop on West Street, Portadown, was dressed as a policeman. It is understood two men entered the shop at about 10am on Thursday, one of them was carrying a suspected firearm.
