Brexit: Dodds Responds To Taoiseach's Comments
DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds has responded to comments Taoiseach Enda Kenny made on Monday.
Mr Kenny said a Brexit would "cause serious difficulties for Northern Ireland".
However, Mr Dodds said NI's membership of the EU is solely a matter for the people of the United Kingdom.
Mr Dodds said: "I can understand why politicians from other jurisdictions may have an interest in how the United Kingdom votes in an EU referendum but they must respect that this is entirely a matter for the people of the United Kingdom.
"For politicians outside the United Kingdom to tell us how to vote and lecture us as to what is best for Northern Ireland is disrespectful and will be counterproductive. I trust that Enda Kenny will keep this in mind when making future comments about the EU referendum."

House of Lords vote for ‘50/50’ police force
The House of Lords has renewed the 50/50 recruitment rule for the PSNI by a majority of 44. It puts into practice a recommendation made in 1999 by Lord Patten that the local police force should be split evenly between Catholics and Protestants. The result of the vote was 141 to 97.

The Alliance Party has called on the Communities Minister to make a commitment to support sports bodies in the upcoming Budget before jobs are lost. Strangford MLA and Communities spokesperson, Kellie Armstrong, made the call after hosting an Assembly event on building a united community through sport.
