Two Charged Over £1m Cannabis Find In Belfast

Two men, aged 24 and 26, have been charged after £1 million of drugs were seized in Belfast on Tuesday.

The discovery was made after police stopped and searched two vehicles in the Dargan Road area.

The men have been charged with a number of offences including possession of class B controlled drugs, possession of class B controlled drugs with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of class B drugs and supplying class B drugs.

The pair are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court today, 28 January.

Man Charged As £6.5K Drugs Seized
A man has been charged with a series of drugs offences after £6,500 of suspected cannabis was seized in north Lurgan and Banbridge. Proactive searches were carried out on Saturday 27 July as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime. A number of items have been seized including £7,000 and an offensive weapon.
