Weather Warnings Issued Across NI

The Met Office has issued a number of weather warnings across Northern Ireland.

A yellow weather warning is in place from 2pm on Thursday until 10pm on Friday.

Heavy rain is expected throughout NI and winds with gusts of up to 60mph, possibly 80mph, over hills and exposed areas.

A snow and ice warning also comes into force on Friday until Saturday afternoon.

Sleet or snow is expected and the temperature is to drop to around two degrees.

Motorists are being urged to take care as travel may be disrupted and driving conditions may also be difficult.
