Armed Men Rob Shop In Sandy Row Area
Police have launched an investigation following an armed robbery at a shop in the Sandy Row area in Belfast on Saturday.
Two men, armed with knives, entered the premises at around 6.45pm.
One man stole a quantity of cigarettes and money from the till, while the other man stood at the door.
Staff were left very badly shaken, however there were no injuries.
Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information about it to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.

Banbridge Shooting: Man Hands Himself Into Police
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Banbridge. On Friday, 12 April, a 40-year-old man was shot by a masked man as he sat in a vehicle in a car park on the Rathfriland Road. The shooting victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.
