Two Arrested After Cannabis Factory Find In Co Down
Two people have been arrested after cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £35,000, was discovered in Co Down.
A 50-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested following the cannabis factory find in the Bexley Road area in Bangor on Tuesday.
Suspected herbal cannabis and plants at various stages of growth were seized.
Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said: "The two detained persons have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and remain in custody at this time.
"A number of other items were also seized as part of this operation."
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
