NI Executive Meeting To Be Held In Enniskillen

The first formal meeting of the NI Executive to be held outside Stormont is to take place in Enniskillen today, 25 February.

The meeting will take place at the Enniskillen Townhall at 10.30am.

First Minister Arlene Foster said this is a first of what will be a programme of Executive meetings throughout Ireland.

She said: "The Northern Ireland Executive belongs to everyone because the decisions made around the table are as real for the people of Brookeborough or Enniskillen as they are for the people of Belfast.

"This approach provides Ministers with the opportunity to visit and learn about areas relating to their Department when they are in the area."

A further meeting of the Executive is planned in L'Derry in the coming weeks.
