Appeal After Shot Fired At House In Co Tyrone

Police are appealing for witnesses after a shot was fired at a property in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

The attack happened in the Stewart Avenue area at around 11.15pm on Wednesday.

The shot was fired through the window of the house. A man in his 50's was in the property at the time, however he was not injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any other information to contact them.

Sinn Féin chairperson of Mid Ulster Council Linda Dillon said: "This was a totally reckless act which showed little or no regard for anyone who could have been in the room when this shot was fired.

"We are lucky someone was not killed or seriously injured in this incident."

Woman Arrested Following Craigavon Search Operation
A 33-year-old woman has been arrested by the PSNI's Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) following a search in the Craigavon area on Tuesday 27th February. As a result of the search, a quantity of suspected Class B controlled drugs were seized, alongside cash and mobile devices. The items were taken away for further forensic examination.

Police Issue Fresh Appeal For Witnesses To Banbridge Shooting
A man shot in the abdomen in a Banbridge car park on Friday, 12 April, remains in a critical condition in hospital. The man, aged in his 40s, was shot as he sat in a car by a masked man. Detectives investigating a shooting in the Rathfriland Road area returned to the scene on the evening of Friday, 19 April.

Appeal For Witnesses Following Incident In Dungannon
Dungannon PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was arrested on Monday, 1st April. Making the appeal, Sergeant Delaney said: "Officers on patrol in Moy just after 11pm saw an 18-year-old man lying across a vehicle parked in The Square, which had a damaged windscreen and wing mirror.
