Two Homes Burgled In Co Antrim

Police are investigating a possible link between two burglaries in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim.

The incidents occurred at properties in the Glenville Manor area and in Abbeyhill Way between noon and 10.50pm on Saturday.

A sum of cash was taken from both properties and a quantity of jewellery was also stolen.

Detective Inspector Chris Millar said: "I would ask anyone with any information about these incidents, or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the areas, to contact detectives at Antrim Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.

Police have renewed their appeal for information in connection with a stabbing in Moy, Co Tyrone. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday 01 March in The Square area of the town. A man in his 50s had driven into a yard in the Ballycreely Road area of the town when a masked man armed with a suspected handgun emerged from a hedge.

Police Hunt Pair Over L'Derry Fraud
Police in L'Derry are hunting two men over attempted frauds at businesses in the area. An investigation has been launched following two attempted distraction scams. One of the suspects distracts a staff member while another uses the card reader to refund large sums of money into their account.

Two people perish in Derry house fire
Two people, both reported to be in their 40s, have died in a house fire in Londonderry in the early hours of Friday morning. The bodies were discovered in the hallway near to the front door of a house at Cashelhill Park in the Shantallow area at around 3.30am this morning.

Police Treat Co Down Gun Attack As Attempted Murder
Police are treating a gun attack in Comber, Co Down as attempted murder. A man in his 50s suffered injuries that are not believed to be life threatening when the incident occurred shortly after 10.20pm on Sunday night, 15 March.
