Man To Appear In Court Over £64,000 Cannabis Seizure In Belgium
A man is to appear in Strabane Magistrates Court today, 30 March, after police seized herbal cannabis worth approximately £64,000 in Belgium.
The seizure was made as part of a joint operation by the PSNI and the National Crime Agency (NCA).
The man will appear in court on four charges including attempted importation of a class B drug and attempted possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
Detective Inspector Tom McClure said: "Anyone involved in the importation and supply of illegal drugs can expect to be pursued by police and brought before the courts."

Two Men Charged After Drugs Seized In L'Derry
Two people have been charged after drugs were found during searches in L'Derry. A quantity of suspected class B drugs, as well as cash and other items, were seized during a search in the Waterside area on Tuesday, 22 August. Suspected class A and class B drugs were also seized following a search in the Cityside area.

Fourteen Sentenced In East Belfast UVF Investigation
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of thirteen men and one woman in connection with an investigation into suspected criminality linked to the East Belfast UVF by the Paramilitary Crime Task Force. The defendants were sentenced over the five-week period, from 11 January to 16 February, at Belfast Crown Court.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.
