Belfast Man Dies In Co Sligo Crash

A man from Belfast has died in a car crash in County Sligo.

The 69-year-old man was killed after the car he was driving hit a ditch in Castlegal, Cliffoney, at around 3pm on Monday.

The man's car was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

The body has been removed to Sligo University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.

Police and Garda are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Work has gotten underway on a £17 million restoration and expansion of Templemore Baths in east Belfast. Templemore is the sole surviving Victorian public baths on the island of Ireland and one of the few remaining in the United Kingdom that still delivers its original function, with most of its original interior fabric and fittings intact.

Man Killed In Car Collision
A man has been killed in a car crash in Londonderry. Two other people have also been injured in the accident, which happened after midnight on Thursday at Alder Road. Two cars were involved in the accident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In East Belfast Police have issued an appeal for information following an aggravated burglary in East Burglary. According to police, at approximately 8.30pm last night, four men forced their way into a house on Mayflower Street. A woman and her young children were at home at the time.
