The Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry has officially launched the 2016 Chamber Awards.

The awards offer seven categories, covering exports, small business, people development, technology, high-growth, customer service and partnerships with the education sector.

The Northern Ireland winners will then go on to compete against the winners from 11 other regions across the UK and stand the chance of being crowned the overall UK winner in a national final in London.

Last year, Northern Ireland winners took centre stage in London with Windell Ltd scooping the national award for Small Business of the Year and young entrepreneur Katie Waddell picking up the national Young Person in Business award.

Award categories are:

• Commitment to People Development

• High Growth Business of Year

• Export Business of the Year

• Best use of Technology

• Small Business of the Year

• Education and Business Partnership

• Excellence in Customer Service

The Chamber Business Awards are open for entry until midnight on Friday 24 June, with regional winners announced on Monday 19 September and national winners announced at the Gala Awards Dinner on Thursday 24 November.

The awards are free to enter for members of Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry and £195 + VAT for non members.
