Stephen Carson Murder: Man Arrested

A 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Stephen Carson.

Mr Carson, 28, was killed after men forced their way into his home on Wallace Street in south Belfast while he was eating dinner with his partner and his son on 25 February.

He was taken to hospital, however he later died as a result of his injuries.

The suspect was detained on Monday and is currently in police custody.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Stephen Carson Murder: Three Arrested
Detectives have arrested three men in connection with the murder of Stephen Carson. Mr Carson, 28, was shot at his home in south Belfast at around 10.45pm on Thursday. The suspects, aged 32, 37 and 39, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. The men were arrested following searches in west Belfast on Friday.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
