Man's Body Found In Co Armagh May Be Hit And Run

A man found dead in Markethill, Co Armagh, may have been the victim of a hit and run, according to the police.

The man's body was discovered in the Shillinghill Road area at around 7am on Monday, 13 June.

Detective Inspector Colin Patterson said: "We are currently working to establish the circumstances surrounding the death, however, at this stage we believe this may have been as a result of a hit and run road traffic collision."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Car Strikes Cyclist In Bangor Hit & Run
A cyclist has been struck by a vehicle in a hit and run collision in Bangor. The male cyclist, aged in his 40s, was cycling on the Donaghadee Road Roundaout when he was hit by a blue Vauxhall Corsa at around 9.30am on Sunday morning, 27 October. Police said the driver failed to stop at the scene.

Man Injured In Belfast Hit And Run
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was injured in a hit and run in Belfast over the weekend. Reports of the collision on the Springfield Road in the west of the city emerged at around 1.50am on Sunday 19 May. The male, aged in his forties, had been struck by a silver-coloured car.

Appeal After Masked Men Force Entry Into Home Of Elderly Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after five masked me forced entry into the home of an man aged in his 70s, on the Saintfield Road. Police received a report shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, 17th February that between 10pm and 10.30pm on the same evening, five masked men entered a house in the Saintfield Road area.
