Man Arrested Over Cannabis Seizure In Enniskillen

A man has been arrested after police seized herbal cannabis, worth an estimated £75,000, in the Enniskillen area.

Police stopped a car on the Belfast Road in Tamlaght on Wednesday afternoon and found the drugs.

The arrest came during a wider investigation into organised crime gangs.

The cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £76,000, was discovered inside the car, along with a small quantity of a class A drugs believed to be cocaine.

A house on Claremount Street in Belfast has also been searched and a number of items have been seized for examination.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A large quantity of suspected illegal drugs were seized during a Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) search operation at a property in west Belfast on Wednesday, 21st February. Two arrested following police raids
Two men have been arrested following police searches in north Belfast. Two handguns, ammunition, drugs worth an estimated street value of £27,000, documents and around £17,000 in cash, were seized during the raids, which are believed to be linked to organised crime in the city.
