Man Treated For Shock Following House Fire In Co Antrim

A man is being treated for shock following a fire at a house in Co Antrim.

The blaze started shortly before noon today, 30 June, at a bungalow in Crumlin.

The fire spread to a nearby oil tank and a number of residents have been evacuated from their homes.

The Manse Road remains closed in both directions and motorists are being urged to seek an alternative route.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault on a man in south Belfast. A man, aged in his 40s, is being treated in hospital after he was "brutally" assaulted inside a lift at Hartington Court off the Dublin Road, according to the police.

Two Men Arrested Over Assault At Cavehill Country Park
Two people have been arrested after a man was assaulted in Cavehill Country Park on Monday, 29 November. A man, aged in his 40s, has been released on bail pending further enquiries and the other man, aged in his 30s, remains in police custody.
