Belfast City Council To Host Tennis Tournament
Belfast City Council and Ulster Tennis have teamed up to host the Belfast City International Tennis Federation (ITF) Junior Tournament.
The event will be held in the city later this month, from Saturday 23 to Friday 29 July.
In a statement, Lord Mayor, Alderman Brian Kingston said: "We're proud to be supporting the Belfast City ITF Junior Tournament at Windsor Lawn Tennis Club from Saturday, 23 – Friday, 29 July in partnership with Ulster Tennis. The competition is attracting players and visitors from Europe, USA and further afield and it's the place to be if you want to spot the stars of the future."
Lauren Smythe, Ulster Tennis Development Manager, added: "Having the prestigious Belfast City ITF Junior Tournament in Belfast gives our junior players an excellent chance to test their performance against the best in the world on their doorstep and showcase tennis to the Northern Ireland public.
"It will help Ulster Tennis achieve one of its main aims to develop improved performance pathways for Ulster players. Everyone is welcome to come to Windsor and support local players throughout the tournament."

Home Safety And Crime Prevention Event At Belfast City Hall
A free home safety and crime prevention advice event is to be held at Belfast City Hall on Friday, 01 March. The Belfast Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) has organised the event, which is free and will take place from 10am-1pm in Belfast City Hall. Complimentary tea, coffee and refreshments will also be provided.
