Connect Event Aims To Help Woman Access Employers

Women Into Business NI have announced a Connect information and support event for female entrepreneurs to be held on Tuesday, 09 August.

The free event, aimed specifically at female participants, will give them the opportunity to hear from a number of industry experts on how support is available and how to take the next step to achieve their ambitions, whether it's employment or self-employment.

Organisations attending include:

• Belfast Metropolitan College

• Belfast City Council

• nibusinessinfo.co.uk

• Volunteer Now

• Open University

• First Trust Bank- business start-up support

Participants will have an opportunity to speak to each of the organisations including representatives from the Connect programme who will answer any questions or queries about the support and opportunities available.

The event will take place at Belfast Metropolitan College, Titanic Quarter Campus, on Tuesday, 9 August, 2016.

Places are limited so early booking is advised.

The programme is specifically for women who are economically inactive or working fewer than 16 hours per week.
