Motorcyclist Killed In Co Down Collision Named
A motorcyclist killed in a road crash in Newtownards, Co Down, has been named.
Jay Curtis Ray, 21, died in a collision on the Belfast Road at around 12.50pm on Sunday, 31 July.
Inspector Jim McGrillen said: "Our investigation into the circumstances of the collision is at an early stage and I am appealing for witnesses. We would especially like to hear from the driver of a blue or purple Ford Kuga who is believed to have stopped at the scene but left prior to the arrival of police.
"The number to call is 101, quote reference 663 31/07/16."

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Appeal For Information Following Banbridge Shooting
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday, 12 April. Shortly after 8pm, it was reported that a man aged in his 40s had been shot in his abdomen while in the car park on Rathfriland Road. Taken to hospital, his condition has been described as serious.

Renewed Appeal For Help Tracing Paula Elliott
The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Paula Elliott, who was last seen on Tuesday, 05 March. The 52-year-old was last seen on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.

New figures from the PSNI show the number of drivers caught speeding in one day in Northern Ireland as part of a major operation. Police carried out vehicle check points, speed checks and proactively patrolling as part of a Service Wide proactive Roads Policing Operation focusing on speeding (OP Lifesaver) and pedestrian safety (Op Safer steps).
