Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry.

It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August.

The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

He has been detained in custody.

Man Wanted For Murder In Denmark Arrested In South Belfast
A 31-year-old man wanted on a murder charge in Denmark has been arrested in south Belfast by the PSNI's International Policing Unit. The man is wanted in Denmark to stand trial for offences of murder and possession of a firearm. The offences occurred in the Aarhus area of Denmark on 8th March 2022.

Man Dies In Hospital Following Collision In Belfast On 02 Sept
The PSNI have reported the death of a 70-year-old man following a road traffic collision in Belfast last week. Paul Marshall has died in hospital after he was struck by a van at Millfield junction in the city centre close to Belfast Met Millfield campus on Monday, 02 September.

Appeal Issued After Teenager Sexually Assaulted On Belfast Bus
Police have issued an appeal after a teenage girl was assaulted on a bus in Belfast. The girl was travelling on a bus between Belfast and Dunmurry at around 7.40pm on Friday, 30 August. A PSNI spokesperson said they want to speak to a man described as having short hair, a beard and wearing a dark-coloured tracksuit and light-coloured shoes.
