Man Forced Into Car Boot During Robbery In Co Down

Police have launched an investigation after a man was forced into the boot of a car during a robbery in Co Down.

Three men entered a house in the Lurgan Road area at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, 20 September.

They assaulted the victim, demanded money from him, threw him into the boot of a car and made off.

The car was abandoned in Moira where the man was released.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "This was a traumatic experience for the victim and detectives are keen to find those responsible."

Police are appealing to anyone who seen a blue Mazda and a silver Vauxhall car in Magheralin on Tuesday night to contact them.

Trading Standards warn of counterfeit goods at car boot sales
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment’s Trading Standards Service (TSS) has warned the general public to be wary of counterfeit goods on sale at car boot sales. The TSS made the warning as it advised organisers that it will be visiting car boot sales over the coming months to ensure such goods are not on sale.

According to police, it was reported that a person had found tickets for the concert on an online platform.

Six men arrested in counterfeit goods seizure
Six men have been arrested after counterfeit goods worth an estimated £60,000 were seized in south Belfast at the weekend. CD’s, DVD’s and cigarettes were all seized during the planned police operation at a car boot sale in the Village area on Sunday.

Appeal Following Fatal Collision On Curr Road
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision on Tuesday, 05 march between Omagh and Ballygawley. Shortly before 7.25pm on Tuesday evening, police received a report of a collision on the Curr Road involving a white BMW 320 and blue Scania lorry.
