Woman Attacked In House With Young Child In South Belfast

Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in a house with a young child in south Belfast.

The incident happened at a property in the Cooke Place area on Monday, 14 November, at around 9am.

The woman had to be treated in hospital for her injuries.

Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said: "One of the men is described as being approximately 5'10" tall, of stocky build, with a bald head, stubble and he spoke with a Belfast accent. He was wearing a dark hip-length puffa type jacket and dark trousers.

"The second man is described as being of stocky build and was wearing a dark waterproof type hooded jacket and black gloves."

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Armed With A Hammer Robs Shop In Shankill
A man with a hammer has robbed a shop in the Shankill Road area of Belfast. The incident occurred at around 10.55pm on Monday. A member of staff was threatened by the armed man, however he was not injured. The man escaped with a sum of money and cigarettes. He is described as being around 30 years old, 6 ft tap and of stocky build.

Police in Belfast have issued an appeal for information after a man was robbed at knifepoint in Belfast city centre in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 14 July. According to reports, three men attacked a lone man as he walked on Rosemary Street at approximately 1am this morning.

Staff Left 'Badly Shaken' Following Armed Robbery In East Belfast
Police are appealing for information after an armed robbery at a shop in east Belfast on Monday night. Two masked men, one of which is believed to have had a firearm, entered the shop on the Albertbridge Road area at around 9.45pm, and stole a number of items. The men made off on foot.
