Investigation Launched After Sudden Death Of Man In Co Tyrone

Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a man in Coagh, Co Tyrone.

According to reports, a 36-year-old man was found at a block of flats on Monday, 21 November.

It is understood his body was found in the same flats where Amy Reid, 21, died last month.

A post-mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death.

Suspected Firearm Recovered During PSNI Operation In Ardmore
The PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit (TIU) have recovered a suspected firearm in Ardmore in L'Derry. During a search in the Rushall Road area, the suspected firearm was located in the vicinity of a graveyard. Enquiries continue, and the suspected firearm will now be the subject of forensic testing.

Man Arrested In Connection With 1992 Police Officer Murder
A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

Death Of Man Found In Garage In Co Tyrone Suspicious
Police are treating the death of a 32-year-old man discovered in a garage in Co Tyrone as suspicious. The man's body was found in the Moor Road area in Coalisland at around 1pm on Thursday. Police have released few details about the man, however it is believed he has links to Eastern Europe.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In Portadown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault in Portadown that it being investigated as a 'disability hate crime'. On Saturday, 24 February, at around 5.20pm, police received a report that a young man had been attacked by six teenage boys in the High Street Mall area.
