Man Attacked In L'Derry

A gang of masked men have attacked a man in Co L'Derry.

The assault happened at a property on Rockmount Gardens just after 1.30am on Wednesday, 18 January.

The victim, aged in his 40s, sustained injuries to his arm and leg, however they are not believed to be life threatening.

The suspects are believed to have made off in a waiting car.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Teen Attacked And Shot In Leg
A teenager has been shot in the leg in Dunmurray. The 18-year-old male was walking down an alley in Summerhill Park at around 9pm last night, when he was attacked by a masked man. He was taken to hospital and his injury is not believed to be life threatening.

22-Year-Old Man Jailed For Rape At Laganside Crown Court
A 22-year-old man has been sentenced to six years for rape at Laganside Crown Court. Ahmad Alsbaihi was sentenced to six years. He will serve three years in custody and three years on licence. He will be placed on the Sex Offenders Register and will be subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) for 10 years.

Appeal Issued Following Craigavon Robbery
Detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a recent robbery in the Craigavon area. A 17-year-old boy was travelling on his e-bike at approximately 12.
