IT Talent gear up for 2004 IT recovery
Specialist IT recruitment company IT Talent, recently unveiled their new look logo in the Merrion Hotel, Dublin, as part of a re-brand that was implemented over the last six months.
The contemporary new look logo was designed to reflect the company’s exceptional growth, while the rebrand focused mainly on the development of market responsive solutions that mirror their unique position in the IT recruitment market.
Launching the new logo, IT Talent managing director, Barry Paterson said: “The downturn in the technology sector in recent years has provided us with a great opportunity to reassess our position in the IT recruitment sector and put in place robust procedures that allow us to be market responsive, while remaining flexible enough to focus on meeting with each clients individual IT sourcing needs.”
Commenting on the resources used to undertake the re-brand, Mr Paterson added: “To bring the brand to a stage where we can communicate and engage more seamlessly has taken an enormous investment on our part, not just in financial terms, but in all aspects of our business. Indeed the whole procedure was somewhat like undertaking a complete health check.
"It forced us to look at things that at first glance seemed very minute aspects of our business and realising how the smallest detail can impact on the long-term branding strategy. From reassessing something as simple as the quality of the envelopes we used, to focusing on how we can consistently add value to the clients relationship, while remaining true to our longer term business development objectives, presented us with a real challenge.”
Response to the re-brand is having an extremely positive reaction. As Mr Paterson put it “IT Talent is quickly becoming a market leader in IT recruitment. That’s probably down to our strap line mirroring our brand attributes - after all it’s ‘where the best people click… ”

Recruitment Boost For Frontline
Midlands-based Frontline Recruitment is celebrating after bucking the national trend in 2009 and taking on 150 new clients since the beginning of the year. Despite the economic doom and gloom, the firm has continued to grow and has added 150 new clients to its books since January, which alone have generated a turnover of £1.23million.

SIPTU has written to the Minster for Health, James Reilly, and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Brendan Howlin, requesting that they halt attempts by the HSE to recruit 1,000 nurses and midwives on 80% of the staff nurse salary scale.

Number Of Unemployment Claimants Falls
The number of people claiming unemployment benefits in Northern Ireland has dropped, new figures have revealed. A total of 31,200 people claimed in May 2017, according to the latest labour market survey. The rate is above the UK averages of 4.6%, however it is below the European Union rate for March 2017.
