Pensioner Hit By Car In Portadown

A woman has been arrested after a pensioner was knocked down in Portadown, Co Armagh.

The 80-year-old woman was struck by a car in the Park Road area at around 1.20pm on Monday, 20 March.

She is believed to be in a stable condition in hospital.

A 49-year-old woman is assisting police with their enquiries.

15-Year-Old Arrested Following Stabbing In Lisburn
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 14-year-old in the Knockmore Road area of Lisburn last night, Monday 25th March. Police have said that at approximately 7.40pm on Monday 25 March, a 14-year-old boy had been approached by a group of teenagers, before being stabbed in the lower back.

Appeal For Information And Witnesses To L'Derry Collision
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a serious road traffic collision in the Strand Road area of L'Derry the early hours of Sunday, February 11. Around 1.40am, police received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf.

Health Minister Urged To Commit To Date For Free Hospital Staff Parking
The SDLP have called on the Health Minister to commit to a firm date for the introduction of free hospital parking for staff. Opposition Health Spokesperson Colin McGrath was speaking after second stage of the Hospital Parking Charges Bill in the Assembly on Tuesday.
