Drugs Worth £250,000 Seized During Property Searches

Drugs worth an estimated street value of £250,000 have been recovered by police during searches at three properties in Templepatrick, Newtownabbey and Bangor.

Detective Inspector Pete Mullun said: "I am very pleased to have taken these dangerous and illegal substances from our streets and as our current operation focussing on illegal drugs (Op Torus) continues, I would ask anyone with information regarding the use or supply of illegal drugs to pass that information on to police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

No arrests were made during the searches and the investigation is ongoing.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Portadown on Wednesday, 01 May. At 3.25pm yesterday, police received a report that a man with a knife had been seen in the Portmore Street area.

Four Die In Fatal Collision In Armagh In Early Hours Of 24 March
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Armagh in the early hours of Sunday, 24 March. A driver and three passengers died when the grey Volkswagen Golf they were travelling in crashed on the Ballynahonemore Road at around 2.10am.
