Rory McIlroy Extends Deal With Nike

Co Down golfer Rory McIlroy has extended his clothing contract with Nike.

McIlroy signed a deal in 2013 and he has entered a contract for a further ten years.

The firm announced last year that it would no longer produces clubs and balls and is to focus on golf clothing and footwear.

Taking to Twitter McIlroy wrote: "Looking forward to the next 10+ years as a @nike athlete!"

Man Jailed For 24 Years For Preparation Of Terrorist Acts
A 32-year-old man has been jailed for 24 years at Belfast Crown Court, after pleading guilty to one count of preparation of terrorist acts. Niall Lehd, from Larne, will serve 24 years in prison and 5 years on licence. Upon his release from prison Lehd will also be subject to Terrorist Notification conditions for 30 years.

Man Jailed For 'At Least' 22 Years For Murder Of Adrian Ismay
A 50-year-old Belfast man has been jailed for a minimum of 22 years for the 2016 murder of prison officer Adrian Ismay. Christopher Robinson was convicted of the murder of the prison officer in January this year, and received a mandatory life sentence.
