Couple Assaulted In North Belfast

A couple, aged in their 30s, have been assaulted after four masked men forced their way into a house in north Belfast.

The incident happened in Cliftonpark Court at around 8.30pm on Saturday, 01 April.

A 10-year-old girl who was in the house at the time escaped injury.

The men demanded drugs, attacked the pair and searched the property.

Detective Inspector Richard Thornton said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen the masked gang. We would also like to hear from anyone who saw a black Ford hatchback, possibly a Fiesta or Focus that may have been used by the males involved in this incident. Detectives can be contacted at Musgrave police station by calling 101 quoting reference 1289 of 01/04/17.

Appeal For Witnesses Following Incident In Dungannon
Dungannon PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was arrested on Monday, 1st April. Making the appeal, Sergeant Delaney said: "Officers on patrol in Moy just after 11pm saw an 18-year-old man lying across a vehicle parked in The Square, which had a damaged windscreen and wing mirror.

Non-Emergency Police Reports To Require Email Address
The PSNI has announced that from Wednesday, 01 May, anyone reporting a non-emergency incident will be asked to provide an email address. Currently there is a system in place where automated email responses are provided in all online reports made to the PSNI.
