Man Arrested Over Murder Of George Gilmore

A 39-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating the murder of George Gilmore.

Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March.

He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March.

The suspect was detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 12 April, and is being questioned at Musgrave police station.

Man Jailed For Manslaughter Of David James Conville
A 31-year-old man has been jailed at Belfast Crown Court for the manslaughter of David James Conville in south Belfast in May, 2022. Edward Kelly was sentenced to serve three-and-a-half years, half of his sentence will be served in custody and half will be served on licence, following his guilty plea last November.

Man And Woman Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in the Woodburn Estate in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital on Tuesday, 14 March. A 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman are assisting the police with their enquiries.
