Appeal Issued After Youths Seen 'Acting Suspiciously' In Bangor

Police are appealing for witnesses after three youths were seen "acting suspiciously" in the Ward Park area of Bangor on Saturday evening, 29 April.

One of the teenagers was dressed all in back.

The second teen had long blond or ginger hair and was wearing an orange or yellow top.

The third was wearing a red hooded top with the hood up and tied.

PSNI Superintendent Brian Kee said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Police in Newtownards on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 390 of the 02/05/17. Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Appeal Issued After Spate Of Robberies In Coleraine
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a number of report of thefts in the Coleraine area. Police received a report that overnight on Friday, 24 February, someone had gained to a property in the Knockaduff Road area, taking away a scrambler motorbike and helmets.

PSNI Identify Body Recovered From Lough Neagh
A body recovered in a coastline area of Lough Neagh on Sunday 18th February has been identified as Alan Whiteside. The 33-year-old Mr Whiteside was reported missing to police in Antrim on Sunday, 17 December. PSNI Detective Inspector Lenaghan said that Mr Whiteside was identified following a post-mortem examination.
